Rockwood Board of Education Awards
The Board of Education recognized the contributions of staff with a variety of awards programs: John M. Kastner, Above and Beyond, Superintendent's Certificates and Community Service.

ROSE: Rockwood Outstanding Service in Education Award
The ROSE (Rockwood Outstanding Service in Education) Award is presented to those who have made a difference in a child's life, in a Rockwood school, or in the Rockwood community.

Any individual providing volunteer service or working at a Rockwood location is eligible to be nominated for this exclusive award.

Teachers of the Year
Rockwood School District teachers are eligilble to nominate and vote on the 
annaul Teacher of the Year program.  

All full-time teachers are eligible.  Each school selects its own Teacher of the Year who then completes the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) application for the district level program

Cornerstone Award 
This prestigious annual honor recognizes the vital roles and contributions of outstanding support staff members. 

The 
dedication and conscientious efforts from support staff members, such as guidance counselors, nurses, secretaries, and custodians, are respected and appreciated by the entire Rockwood community.
