Alcohol Compliance Checks
St. Louis County Police, in partnership with the Ballwin, Chesterfield, Ellisville, Eureka, Manchester and Wildwood police departments, conduct monthly compliance checks of area liquor merchants, including stores, gas stations and restaurants. These compliance checks are sponsored by the Rockwood Drug-Free Coalition.
The following liquor retailers were found in compliance with laws prohibiting the sale of alcohol to minors. The Rockwood Drug-Free Coalition thanks these retailers for their vigilance. Full story
Social Hosting Ordinances Approved
Clarkson Valley and Wildwood have passed specific ordinances against social hosting. It is important to know that parents can be held responsible - financially and criminally - for violations committed by their children. Parents who supply, or allow the consumption of, alcohol by minors are in violation of a St. Louis County ordinance and can be arrested or fined. Full story
