- Parent Resources
- Middle school and high school years can be a challenging, stressful and fun rollercoaster ride for many adolescents. The Coalition offers parents a variety of resources to help their child successfully navigate these teen years.
Guiding Good Choices
"Guiding Good Choices" is a nationally-recognized five-session family management class facilitated by experienced Rockwood counselors. The program, geared for parents of children ages 9 -14, provides adults with skill sets for improving communications and bonding, setting boundaries and expectations, and understanding the risks and signs associated with youth substance abuse. Two classes are offered each school year. For more information and registration, please visit the program website here.
