Rockwood school district offers an excellent benefit package to eligible employees. The package includes medical, dental, vision, life and long-term disability insurance with premiums paid 100 percent for the employee. In addition, the district offers extensive opportunities for staff development and a generous tuition reimbursement benefit.

Medical
Rockwood School District provides eligible employees and their dependents the opportunity to enroll in one of three medical plans, including a high deductible plan with health savings account. All three plans utilize the Cigna Access Plus network of physicians. Employees may access Cigna physicians by going to www.cigna.com.

The district pays 100 percent of the eligible employee's medical premium and a portion of the dependent premium cost.


Dental
Rockwood provides eligible employees and their dependents dental insurance through Delta Dental of Missouri. The plan offers coverage for preventative and restorative services. In addition, there is a benefit for orthodontia of eligible children under the age of 18.

The district pays 100 percent of the eligible employee's dental premium and a portion of the dependent premium cost.


Vision
Rockwood School District provides eligible employees and their dependents vision insurance through Vision Benefits of America. This benefit provides coverage for eye exams, glasses and contacts.

The district pays 100 percent of the eligible employee's vision premium and a portion of the dependent premium cost.


Life Insurance
Rockwood School District provides eligible employees a $50,000 life insurance policy. Employees may purchase supplemental life insurance for themselves, their spouse and/or their children.


Long-Term Disability
Rockwood School District provides eligible employees long-term disability insurance. This benefit provides up to 50 percent of an employee's salary if they are disabled and unable to work after a 75 day waiting period.
