Description
Physical Education classes are semester classes that focus on participation and preparing students to live healthy active lives.
Students should take the semester course "Personal Fitness and Wellness" in the 9th grade, which is a prerequisite for all other physical education courses. In 9th through 12th grade students must take at least one semester of any of the following: beginning Strength Training, Aerobic Fitness and Conditioning, Advanced Strength Training, Team Sports, Lifetime/Recreational Sports, Basic Aquatic Skills, Intermediate Aquatic Skills, Advanced Aquatic Skills and Lifeguard Training. Click on the classes to the left for more information on any of these specific courses.
