Mathematics

Description
The Mathematics Department offers a full complement of course offerings, ranging from Consumer Mathematics and Pre-Algebra to Finite Mathematics and Calculus. Also included in the Mathematics Department are programming classes in VisualBasic, C++, and HTML/JavaScript. The following Advanced Placement courses are available: AP Calculus, AP Statistics, and AP Computer Science. Students who qualify may be elected to Mu Alpha Theta, the national mathematics honor society, or to the Lafayette Technology Honor Society. Participation in mathematics competitions is sponsored by the department. Peer Tutoring is also facilitated by the department.
