Many of our teachers are available for help before and after school.  If students are having a rough time in class we strongly recommend that they meet with their teacher when they are available.  You can find times when teachers are available on their websites or contact the teacher directly to set up a time that will work for everyone.

Academic Lab

Rockwood Summit offers a variety of tutoring options for all students.  One way to get extra help is academic lab.  Academic lab is offered every hour of the day and is utilized through study hall class.  Students have the option of attending academic lab during their study hall time if they choose to enroll in a study hall.

The academic lab is staffed by teachers in core subject areas which offers tutoring and make up exam services throughout the day.

Math Lab

Math lab provides help from our math teachers before and after school hours.  Math lab is located on the third floor of the academic wing.

Before school is Tuesday through Friday 7:10-8:10am 

After school is Monday through Thursday 3:10-4:10pm

Tutorconnection

Tutorconnection is a new Rockwood program that helps connect certified Rockwood teachers and professionals with parents who are looking for private, fee-based tutoring lessons for their children.  The focus is to improve students’ knowledge and/or skill-based performance of the district’s curricular concepts.  In addition, the new program allows the district to minimize many of the safety concerns for students and teachers created by the district’s previous tutoring for pay practice.
