Principal, Andrew Loiterstein	loitersteinandrew@rockwood.k12.mo.us As the Principal, Mr. Loiterstein is committed to serving the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student at Rockwood Valley Middle School. Mr. Loiterstein began his career as a middle school social studies teacher in the Mehlville and Clayton School Districts. He then returned to the Mehlville School District where he served as a middle school assistant principal for 6 years. Mr. Loiterstein graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri – Columbia College of Education, and earned a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Lindenwood University. In his free time, Mr. Loiterstein enjoys reading, watching Cardinal baseball, and (most of all) spending time with his wife and their three children.

Thomas McKenna, Assistant Principal	mckennathomas@rockwood.k12.mo.us Tom McKenna is in his tenth year as an assistant principal at RVMS. After teaching for a year in his home state of Indiana, he began his career in Rockwood in 1991 as a sixth grade teacher at Stanton Elementary. After two years at Stanton, he taught sixth grade at Selvidge Middle School for six years. Mr. McKenna came to RVMS in 1999 as an administrative intern, and became an assistant principal in 2001. Mr. McKenna has a Bachelors Degree in Business from Indiana University, a Masters Degree in Education from Purdue University, a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Administration degree from Lindenwood University. He and his wife have two daughters. He enjoys spending time and traveling with his family, reading, and playing golf.

Adam Schweizer Assistant Principal	schweizeradam@rockwood.k12.mo.us This is Adam Schweizer's third year at Rockwood Valley. Prior to becoming Assistant Principal, Adam taught 8th grade history at LaSalle Springs Middle School for seven years. While there he participated in Rockwood’s Administrative Leadership Development Program, was Teacher of the Year for the 2007-2008 and was the Student Council Co-Sponsor for five years. Adam received his Bachelors Degree from Syracuse University (dual degree in History and Education) and completed his Masters Degree at Maryville University (Educational Leadership). In his spare time Adam enjoys ice hockey, working out, trivia and spending time with his family.
