At Wildwood, we are working in cooperation with the district on a new guide for reporting non-academic indicators for secondary students. Some teachers in secondary schools throughout Rockwood are using a new scoring guide, and we are eager to be a part of this important work. The following teachers have volunteered to participate in this initiative.
If your child's teacher has volunteered to participate in this new guide for reporting, you will notice a change in the reporting when you logon to Infinite Campus to view your child’s grades. You’ll note grades for 1) academic achievement, which is an accurate evaluation of what your child knows, and 2) non-academic indicators, which describe the actions and behaviors that support your child’s academic achievement. The district plans on taking our feedback and improving the guide before it is implemented in all secondary schools in the near future. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact WMS Principal, Dr. Klouse, or your classroom teacher that is participating. For more information, please see the letter that was sent home with your child, posted here.
