 Points of Pride

Named a 2011 National School of Character by the Character Education Partnership (CEP).

Recipient of a 2009 National School of Character Promising Practice Award through the Character Education Partnership for the “Stripes Buddy Activities” of Respect, Responsibility, Caring, Cooperation and Honesty.  We have also received the 2008 Promising Practice Award for “Portrait of Character” and in 2007 “Veterans Day Celebration” award.

Participating in the Caring School Community (CSC) program that focuses on strong relationships and high expectations. This is our 8th year of implementation.

Strong, collaborative Professional Learning Communities (PLC teams)dedicated to improving student achievement.

Dedicated to sound technology instruction including 27 SMART Boards in classrooms including music, art and the library.
