Film Screening: Race to Nowhere
Rockwood students, staff and community members are invited to attend a screening of the documentary film, "Race to Nowhere" on:

About adolescent stress, this film calls on families, educators and policy makers to challenge current assumptions on how to best prepare the youth of America to become healthy, bright, contributing and leading citizens. Attendees are required to register for this free event, which is sponsored by the department of differentiated services. Tickets will be available until the seating capacity of the auditorium is reached and may be obtained online for no charge. Please print your confirmation ticket email and bring it to the screening.

Parents will also have the opportunity to attend a follow-up event to learn more about adolescent stress during a coffee with Dr. Alec Pollard on:

Eureka High School Professional Development Room

Dr. Pollard, Director of the Anxiety Disorders Center of the Saint Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute and Professor of Community and Family Medicine at Saint Louis University, will discuss anxiety and school achievement. This event is open to the Rockwood community; students may attend with their parents.
