Free Adult Education Classes
 
The Rockwood Community Education department is looking for students 16 years and older who are interested in enrolling in free adult education classes in reading and basic math, English as a Second Language (ESL) and General Education Development (GED® ) assistance.  These classes, which run January 3 through May 18, assist adults with preparation for GED® testing, transition assistance for college, job testing practice, basic skills review, individualized tutoring and letter writing.

Free GED® Prep & More/Adult Basic Education classes are available:

  • Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. – noon at the Administrative Annex Modular Classroom (500 North Central, Eureka 63025)
  • Monday and Thursday from 9 a.m. – noon at the Daniel Boone Library, lower level (300 Clarkson Rd., Ellisville 63011)
  • Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. – noon at Calvary Fellowship Church, Buchanan Building, Lower level (1811 Smizer Station Rd., Fenton 63026)
  • Tuesday and Thursday from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at Rockwood Summit High School, room 163 (1780 Hawkins Rd., Fenton 63026)
  • Tuesday and Thursday from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at the Administrative Annex Modular Classroom (500 North Central, Eureka 63025)
  • Tuesday and Thursday from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at Crestview Middle School, room 110 (16025 Clayton Rd., Ellisville 63011)

 In addition, adults can enroll in free English as a Second Language (ESL) classes.  These classes assist adults with English conversation practice, grammar, preparation for citizenship test and more.
