Inside the Brain of Austism
Presented by Dr. Bradley Mears

Dr. Mears, a researcher, presents internationally on topics related to Early Childhood growth and development, specifically in the areas of developmental neurology and autism.  He serves as a board member for the Midwest Clinic for Autism Spectrum Disorders.

 Thursday, March 15th, 2012
7:00-8:30 p.m.
at
Lafayette High School in the Auditorium
17050 Clayton Road
Wildwood, MO 63011

The number of children diagnosed with autism is on the rise and, unlike many neurological disorders, this one will always keep you guessing.  The greatest truth that we know about children with autism is that no two will be alike.  This session will discuss exactly what autism is, how our understanding of autism continues to progress and just why each of these amazing kids is so different.  As a researcher in the area of autism and the father of a child with autism, Dr. Mears will talk through the truth, the fads and the misunderstandings which surround autism.  This presentation is for parents/caregivers/professionals only.

There is a cost of $5 per person to help cover presenter costs.
