English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

Babler Elementary has a very diverse student body... we come from all over the United States and abroad. Your family will immediately feel like this is your school. The staff at Babler wants all of its students to enjoy learning and be successful in the classroom. Everyone will work together to help you achieve this.

Registration at Babler is easy. First, call the office at 636-458-7328 to register your child. When you arrive for your appointment, you should have the following items:

• Child's official birth certificate or passport
• Child's immunization record
• Child's social security number or resident alien (green) card
• Child's last report/grade card or an official transcript from the last school attended
• Child's physical form completed by a doctor (Babler School has this form.)
• 2 Proofs of residency (copy of building contract, rental contract or unpaid utility bill)
• Parent/guardian identification
• If the child does not live with the biological parents, please bring proof of custody and call 636.938.2200 for more information.

ESOL class is just for your child. ESOL instruction is provided during the regular school day for at least 30 minutes, 1-5 times per week. Academic English and cultural literacy are emphasized. Your child will make new friends here. We will help you get acquainted with the Babler family.
