What's Happening

Accelerated Reader or AR for short, is the reading incentive program used at Babler Elementary School for grades 2nd through 5th . The focus of the program is to encourage students to read books at their individual reading level and test their comprehension of the books read through on-line quiz taking. Students and teachers set individual and class goals. Parents can access their child’s information, books read and quizzes taken through Renaissance Home Connect. Students are only able to take quizzes at school. The AR program will continue through out the school year.
This Reading Incentive program is generously funded by the Babler PTO.

The Babler Library Media Center has twelve student workstations for students do do research, type papers, create powerpoint programs and take Accelerated Reader quizzes.
