The Babler Outdoor Education Center would like to invite Cub Scout Troops the opportunity to come out and earn a badge with the help of the Babler OEC staff!  These badge opportunities are held on Rockwood’s teacher professional development days and are a fun and inexpensive way for your troop to earn a badge. 

Tiger Scouts: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Join us as we take a look at conservation and how to protect the environment. Play a recycling game and create something new from a reused item. (Elective 33, 47)

Wolf Scouts: The Great Outdoors
Practice getting prepared for an outdoor adventure…pick the right clothes, pack the right gear, pair up with a buddy, plan what to do if you get lost. Learn to identify poisonous plants and dangerous situations. Scouts will make a mini first aid kit to take on the trail.
(Elective 18e/g, 23b/c/d)

Fee: $8 per scout
