Join us for a free day of family fun October 22 at Babler State Park! Tour the former Stables building while learning about the history of the area, participate in historic crafts, skills and games all while viewing the beautiful fall foliage.
Park staff will conduct tours of the facility and present the history of the area. Topics will include Native American life which once flourished in the area, the Civilian Conservation Corps who helped build the Stables building and the Coleman Tyler family cemetery located within the park that dates back to the early 19th century.
Participate in a variety of historic crafts, skills and games such as candle making, soap making, dutch oven cooking, crosscut bow saw demonstrations and more.
