Junior Achievement

JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT is a five week program which teaches students to understand the economic world around them though a sequential business and economics curriculum. Volunteer role models present the lessons with a variety of hands on activities.
The JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM is presented in grade units.
The KINDERGARTEN unit, Ourselves, emphasizes the economic role of the individual.
The FIRST GRADE unit, Our Families, teaches the role of families in the local economy.
The SECOND GRADE unit, Our Community, examines the responsibilities and opportunities available to those within a community.
The THIRD GRADE unit, Our City, teaches career opportunities, economic development, and local businesses
The FOURTH GRADE unit, Our Region, features economic and business resources in state and regional economics.
