Stephen Banton was elected to the Rockwood Board of Education in 2007. Mr. Banton is a partner in the law firm of Quinn, Ground and Banton L.L.P. He graduated from Washington University Law School and Washington University Graduate Business School. Mr. Banton has served six terms in the Missouri Legislature where he served on the Children, Youth and Family Committee. In addition, he served on the board of directors for the Rockwood Schools Foundation.  He and his wife, Linda, have two children.
