Steve Smith was elected to the Rockwood Board of Education in 2011.  Mr. Smith received his law degree from Saint Louis University.  He served as the associate dean of the School of Law at Saint Louis University from 1980-2003.  Mr. Smith previously served on the Rockwood Board of Education from 1989 to 1995.  In addition, he served on the Board in 2003 and 2010 when he was appointed to fill a vacated position.  Mr. Smith has a long history of public service with Special School District and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.  He and his wife, Judy, reside in Eureka.
