Welcome to the CES fundraising web page! 
One of the Chesterfield PTO's missions is to raise funds for programs and equipment to further the education of our children.  This year we are trying something different.  Instead of numerous fundraisers throughout the year, we are simply asking each Chesterfield Elementary family to make an annual one-time monetary donation to support PTO sponsored activities.  We are calling this fundraising campaign "CHARGING TO THE TARGET".  The campaign will kick off August 23 at Curriculum Night and will run through September 16.  Our goal is to raise $23,000 this year and to have 100% participation of all our Chesterfield families.

Why the change?  We want to maximize your donation by eliminating overhead expenses, incentive costs and other fees associated with outside fundraising agencies.  By eliminating the fundraising middle man, 100% of your donation will go to Chesterfield Elementary!  You can also enjoy a tax write-off and avoid the feeling of being nickled and dimed throughout the year.  Some employers will even match your donation.  All families who make a donation of any amount will be recognized on or recognition wall - this includes grandparents and other family members too.  Please consider how you can support CES this year by contributing to the PTO budget.  Please give what you can and be confident that your dollars will be put to good work. 

We do have other, no cost to you, fundraisers.  The HOLIDAY BOUTIQUE is unique in that, although parents from CES do attend and purchase items, the majority of the shoppers are from outside our school community.  This provides the PTO the opportunity to raise funds without asking you to contribute or sell anything!

BOX TOPS are an easy no-cost fundraiser because just about everyone uses General Mills products.  All you have to do is cut the box top coupon off the participating General Mills packages and send in the coupon(s) to school with your child.  It is an easy way to earn money for our school!

Lastly, we host the SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR in the School Library.  The PTO views this an an "educational fundraiser" where there is value for our children.  All funds raised are donated directly back into the library to purchase new books and other library essentials.
