Nominations must be received by Tuesday, March 6, to be eligible.
Nominees must:

be employed or contracted (including Special School District) on a regular basis to serve Rockwood School District students.

have been employed on or prior to October 1, 2010.
-
work full-time or part-time.
-
demonstrate outstanding service and support to the overall educational climate and mission of the Rockwood School District.
These individuals are ineligible to receive the Cornerstone Award:
-
full-time contracted classroom teachers, librarians and counselors. (These individuals may be nominated for the Teacher of the Year Award.)

Administrative Council members and program supervisors.

parent/citizen volunteers.

Nomination Procedure
Nomination forms are available at all Rockwood locations. Nominations also will be accepted online.
Signed hardcopy forms should be forwarded in a sealed envelope via interschool mail or U.S. mail to:

Selection Process
The Cornerstone Award recipients will be chosen by a selection committee representing a cross section of Rockwood staff members.
All Cornerstone Award recipients will be notified in early April. Six employees will be chosen to receive a Cornerstone Award. Cornerstone recipients will be formally recognized during the ROSE Award Ceremony and Dinner on Sunday, May 6, at the Doubletree Hotel at Westport.
Nomination Deadline
All nominations, paper or online, must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, for consideration.
