Mission Statement:
All students will be valued and provided results-based instruction in the areas of Career, Academic, and Personal Social Development, through a comprehensive guidance program, as they acquire skills, abilities and attitudes that empower them to be lifelong contributing members of society.
Our guidance and counseling program includes:
- CURRICULUM consists of classroom lessons and large group presentations
- INDIVIDUAL PLANNING consists of activities that help all students plan, monitor, and manage their own learning as well as their personal and career development.
- RESPONSIVE SERVICES consists of activities to meet immediate needs and concerns of students.
- SYSTEM SUPPORT consists of management activities that establish, maintain, and enhance the total guidance program.
2012-2013 MIDDLE SCHOOL REGISTRATION:
- Week of January 16, 2012: The counselors will present registration information to the current 6th and 7th graders.
- January 20, 2012: Online Registration Portal opens for registration at 7 a.m.
- January 24, 2012: Online Registration help from 6-7 p.m. in CMS Business Lab (Room 318).
- January 31, 2012: Registration due online by 4 p.m. The online registration portal closes at 4 p.m.
- February 1, 2012: Course Selection Form and printed Request Summary Sheet from Infinite Campus (both signed by a parent) due to the Guidance Office.

AVAILABLE PARENT PROGRAMS:
"Guiding Good Choices"--A family management and skill building course for parents of adolescents and teens ages 9-14. Click here for more information. This program will begin January 13, 2012.
"Be In The Know"--A free parenting conference offered at Pond Elementary. You must RSVP to attend this conference. Click here for more information. This conference will begin January 19, 2012.
PARENT RESOURCE CENTER:
The Crestview Parent Resource Center is located in the Crestview Library. It contains books, articles, websites, and other valuable information for parents to use.
