The Missouri Assessment Program assesses students’ progress toward mastery of the Show-Me Standards, which are the educational standards in Missouri. The Missouri Assessment Program includes required End-of-Course (EOC) assessments in the subject areas.

When are the EOC Assessments?

Fall 2011

• Government: 12/2/11-12/12/11

Spring 2012

• Biology:  4/13/12 – 4/23/12
• Government:  4/25/12 – 5/3/12
• Algebra I:  4/30/12 – 5/8/12
• English II:  4/30/12 – 5/8/12

Who will need to take the EOC Assessments?

Students (grades 6-12) in Missouri taking courses in Algebra I, Biology, English II and Government assessments. These tests are not specific to any grade level, but rather to course content.

What kinds of questions are on the test?

All assessments are composed of multiple choice (selected response) questions developed specifically for Missouri students.
