Social Hosting Ordinances
Several municipalities, including Clarkson Valley and Wildwood, have passed specific ordinances related to hosting parties where alcohol is served to minors. It is important to know that parents can be held responsible - financially and criminally - for violations committed by their children. Parents who give or supply alcohol to minors are in violation of a St. Louis County ordinance and can be arrested or fined. See the full story.

Those Who Host Lose the Most
Last fall, the Rockwood Drug-Free Coalition introduced a new "Those Who Host Lose the Most" campaign, informing members of the community about consequences of allowing minors to drink alcohol, as well as the dangers that alcohol consumption poses to the health of adolescents.
