Eureka High Administrator-Jennifer Strauser leads efforts to better meet needs of African-American students be more successful has been powered by the Eureka staff.

The associate principal’s strong connection with African-American students led her to form an Equity Team for which 30 teachers have volunteered. Its subcommittees focus on relationships, culture and achievement and put strategies in place to help African-American students be more successful.
