Use the advanced search option to find a list of about 50 local charities.
Call a charity and offer to plan an event for them. Can you put together a teen trivia night or a walk-a-thon to raise money? Use your creativity to come up with ideas. How about a doghouse decorating contest to benefit an animal shelter? A book drive to support a local children’s charity? The possibilities are endless!
You can also call charities you like and offer to create/update a website for them. Many charities do not have someone with the expertise to do this. It’s a neat skill that many teens can offer. It doesn’t even have to be fancy.
