School Store.com fundraiser
If you haven't had a chance to do so yet, please set up an account with School Store.com. At no cost to you or to our school, we can raise extra funds just by doing the holiday shopping you would have done anyway. When you are online making your holiday gift selections (or any other online purchases) start with the School Store website and click through to one or more of more than 400 online shopping sites. When you do this before you purchase, a portion of the proceeds will come back to Green Pines. It just takes a few minutes and our school can really benefit. If you send three or more emails to friends and family, your Gator will automatically receive a small prize--the prizes are actually pretty nice. PTO Fundraisers
Green Pines PTO has one major fundraiser for the school year.
Cherrydale Farms and Entertainment Books
Students sell wrapping paper and gift items offered by the Believe Kids Company. Entertainment Books are also sold. This all-school fundraiser takes place at the beginning of the school year. Both catalog and internet sales are offered. For online orders, the website is: www.cherrydale.com. Make sure to enter 161108 during the checkout process, so that the school gets credit for the order.
Benefit: Main source of funding for PTO budget.
In addition to the major fundraiser, PTO also sponsors many other activities which help to raise money for the school. Listed below are all of the activities, along with what the funds are used for.
With the exception of the Believe Kids Fundraiser, PTO activities or events where monies are collected, are offered to families as a service and are not intended to raise funds for the PTO. Some of these include: Gator Gear, Fall Festival, and Wrap Packs.
All other fundraisers are sponsored through the school office or the Rockwood School District.
Box Tops for Education
Families are encouraged to save the box tops from General Mills products and have their child bring them to school. The school receives $.10 per box top. For more information visit the website at www.boxtops4education.com.
Benefit: Funds go to purchase school library materials.
Buzz Book
Student addresses and phone numbers are published in the Buzz Book.
Benefit: General PTO Budget
Campbell’s Labels
Families are encouraged to save labels from Campbell's® Soup, Prego® Pasta Sauce, Pepperidge Farm® Goldfish® Crackers, or V8® beverages and have their child bring them to school. www.labelsforeducation.com
Benefit: Funds go towards the purchase of new P.E. and recess equipment.
Macy's Shop for Education
When you use your Macy's credit card to make a purchase, Macy's donates a portion of the sales to Green Pines.
Market Day
This is a monthly food co-op offered to Green Pines families. Order sheets come home once a month in the Friday folders or you can order online at www.marketday.com.

Schnucks Escrip
When you use your Schnucks Escrip card to make a purchase, Schnucks donates a portion of the sales to Green Pines.

Scholastic Book Fair
The Book Fair is offered to parents and students during Fall and Spring Conferences.
Benefit: Reading materials for each classroom and library materials.
Target
Use your Target red card and Green Pines gets 1% of the purchase price.

Families are asked to send old cell phones to school and deposit them in the box in the front hallway.

Chevy's Night for Green Pines
Two nights during the school year are designated as Green Pines Night at Chevy’s. A portion of the proceeds from food purchases go to the school.

Clothing Donation Program
The Green Pines Community is asked to drop off used clothing in the box located in the front of the school.

Ink Jet & Laser Cartridge Recycling Program
Families are encouraged to send in used ink jet and laser cartridges and deposit them in the box in the front hallway.

Papa John’s Pizza Night
One night each month is designated for Green Pines families to order pizza. A portion of the proceeds go to the school.

Paper Recycling Program
Green Pines and the surrounding community are asked to deposit used paper products in the recycling bin located in the front parking lot of the school building.

School Pictures (Fall and Spring)
Students have pictures taken in both fall and spring. Parents have the opportunity to purchase a variety of packages and the yearbook.
