FY13 Revised Budget Options Created for Board Consideration

Based on feedback to the list of proposed budget reductions, the Design Team has revised the original list posted on April 11. Read the revised list that will be presented to the Board of Education on May 5. The Board will not make any decision or take a vote on the list at this time.

FY13 Budget Options Created for Board Consideration

The group of district administrators, who are the Design Team in this process, has created options for the Board of Education to consider in planning the budget for FY13 and beyond. Review the proposed options list, which includes: option description, cost, context and reality, impact of the reduction and level affected.

Save the Date: Stakeholder Input/Option Discussion on April 19

You're invited to join parents, district staff and administration to review the proposed options for a sustainable budget for FY13 and beyond. This is your opportunity to review the options and provide feedback before the Design Team recommends the budget options to the Board of Education.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 19 from 4-9:15 p.m. at Crestview Middle School. Learn more about this meeting.

Additional Input Data Available for Review

The feedback collected from Town Hall meetings, building and department meetings and the anonymous Stakeholder Input Form are available for review. On Wednesday, March 16, an additional 12 staff summaries were added. The comments collected during the input phase will be used by the Superintendent’s Cabinet (Design Team) to create options for the Board of Education (Decision Makers) to consider as they make decisions regarding district finances and the 2012-2013 budget.
