Flu Vaccinations
 

To help protect the health of our students, staff, parents and patrons, the district is offering flu shots in our schools.

Cost

  • Rockwood employees and immediate families: $20 for a flu shot,
    $30 for FluMist
  • Rockwood students and community members: $28 for a flu shot,
    $38 for FluMist

An additional benefit of getting your flu vaccination at school is $3 from every vaccination goes back to your school as a fundraiser.

Locations: Please note the date and time that nurses will be available to administer the vaccine.

A: The CDC website recommends a yearly flu vaccination as the first and most important step in protecting against flu viruses. Visit the CDC for prevention tips.

Q: Should my children and I get a flu shot?

A: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is now recommending that everyone age 6 months and over get a flu shot.
