Library Schedule

Our library welcomes students daily during regular school hours.  Students may visit the library with their classes or use a pass as often as they like with the classroom teacher's permission.  The library doors are open for research, word processing, and quiet reading or study time.  Library classes are scheduled in collaboration between the librarian and classroom teachers.  These classes integrate library skills within the curriculum. 

Library Checkout

Students in Kindergarten may check out 1 book, while students in grades 1-5 can check out 2 books.  In addition, students in grades 2-5 can also check out magazines.  All students can check out more books for research or other projects as needed.  Books are checked out for 2 weeks and can be returned or renewed during that time.  We do not charge fines, but we strongly encourage students to have all materials back on time so that others may use them.  Overdue lists are periodically printed for the students.  There is a charge for replacing lost or damaged materials.
