We will be having another Culver's restaurant night on Tuesday, February 21st from 5pm to 9 pm. Fifth graders will be the servers for the evening. You can also help support Kellison twice by ordering Culver Gift cards from the TWB program. Pre-order forms were sent home and orders are due on Monday, February 13th. Invitations have gone home for the first annual Sweetheart Dance. This event will be held Friday, February 10th, from 7 pm to 9 pm. This fun event is for Kellison girls and their fathers (or male figure such as an uncle, grandfather, older brother, etc.). The dress code is “Dress to Impress” and activities include DJ, dance, crafts, dessert, contests, pictures, and fun! Please RSVP by February 1st. To view the invitation, click here.

We are happy to announce that we will again be selling school supplies, packaged and delivered to your child's classroom for Family Night in August 2012! All you have to do is send in an order form or go online February 1st through April 27th and purchase your child's appropriate box and a backpack. No braving crowds or running to multiple stores with your children in tow. Kellison will receive a portion of all orders.

A sample box and a couple of the backpacks will be available for viewing in the library during the March 13th and 14th school conferences. Stop by and place your order then, or turn it in earlier! Order forms and starting prices for each grade are below.

This year Muffins With Mom will be held on Friday, February 17, from 7:40 am until 8:10 am in Kellison's Gym. Muffins, bananas, juice, and milk will be served. The cost is $2 per person attending and reservations are required and need to be sent into school no later than Friday, February 10th. For the month of December Mrs. Stanze's fifth grade class collected the most Box Tops with 239, followed by Mr. Baer's fourth grade class with 199.

Mrs. Davis's second grade class collected the most Box Tops for the first half of the year. Mr. Baer's fourth grade class came in second followed by Mrs. Stanze's fifth grade class.

Listed below are the top 5 leaders for the first half and the school year and what they collected.

A new contest will now begin for the 2nd half of the school year. Send in your boxtops to get your child's class off to a great start. Thank you to all the families who have taken the time to collect and send in the Box Tops. So far this year, we've collected 13,495 Box Tops.
