Awesome Stories
Awesome Stories is an amazing collection of on-line materials, primary sources, and even sound and video clips designed to enrich students' understanding of various topics in history. The site is searchable and is organized into broad topics that the user can browse for a more specific listing. Topics range from natural disasters to wars, movies, and even religion and famous trials.
Bridges
Bridges is an online database of incredible information relating to careers, college majors, and even volunteering activities. You can take an online quiz to give you an idea of what careers may be good for you. This site even helps you choose college majors based on how well you do in subjects at school or based on your outside interests.
Gale Global Issues in Context
offers international viewpoints on a broad spectrum of global issues, topics, and current events. Featured are hundreds of continuously updated issue and country portals that bring together a variety of specially selected, highly relevant sources for analysis of social, political, military, economic, environmental, health, and cultural issues. Each of these gateway pages includes an overview, unique "perspectives" articles written by local experts, reference, periodical, primary source and statistical information.
Gale Litfinder
Contains thousands of full-text poems, short stories, essays, plays and speeches. Literary criticism can also be found here. you can search by author, title, nationality, or even genre.
Gale Opposing Viewpoints in Context
Social issues database which gives facts and arguments for both sides of an issue. Great for research papers and/or debate.
Gale Student Resources in Context
Access to Gale reference sources on literary criticism, biographies, history, science, and multimedia. Includes full-text articles from Gale reference books and a number of newspapers and magazines, too. Helpful for almost ANY class! Links to websites that have been evaluated by Gale are also included.
SIRS (Social Issues Resources)
SIRS provides an overview, pro/con, analysis guide and various resources on leading controversial issues. Includes magazines & newspaper articles, web links, editorials, primary sources, government documents, graphics, & reference pieces.
Salem History
The database includes information on the 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1990s, Great Athletes, Ancient World, Renaissance, 18th, 19th and 20th Century Lives, Incredibly Wealthy and Notorious Lives. The print versions of these series can be found in the library reference section.
Salem Literature
This database includes Masterplots, Critical Survey of Long Fiction, and Critical Survey of Poetry. The print version of this series can be found in the library reference section.

A comprehensive resource for consumer-oriented health content. It is designed to support the information needs of patients, and to foster an overall understanding of health-related topics. EBSCO Science Reference Center
A comprehensive research database that provides easy access to a multitude of full-text science-oriented content. Science Reference Center contains full text for hundreds of science encyclopedias, reference books, periodicals and other source.
EBSCO Searchasaurus
