Senior Class News
Welcome to the Senior News and final semester of high school for the Class of 2010. The class enjoyed a strong first semester, with many of our seniors enjoying their final high school year by staying involved in a variety of extra-curricular activities. At this point we have 81 seniors that have scored a 30 or higher on the ACT. In addition to offering the ACT test 5 times on the Lafayette campus, the guidance department has resources and personnel that can assist all of our seniors improve their scores on this important college readiness exam.
Approximately 40 seniors have made the commitment to join other seniors across the district and will be travelling to the New Orleans area on Spring Break for a "Habitat for Humanity" effort. This will be the fourth consecutive year that seniors, parents, and staff members from all four high schools have chosen to help make a positive impact on the areas devastated from Hurricane Katrina.
