Sophomore Community Service Project – Canned Food Drive
The Sophomore Advisory will be sponsoring a canned food drive from November 9th – November 20th. Cans collected will be delivered to Circle of Concern on November 23rd. Sophomore students are in a competition between language arts classes for donuts awarded to the class who donates the most cans. Please have your student take their can donations to their language arts class starting November 9th. We need everyone’s help to make this community service project successful!!
Book Study
We are well into our book study on the book "Why Do They Act That Way?" It's not too late to join. Our next meetings are scheduled for November 18th at 3:30 in room 181. Call the sophomore office if you would like to purchase a book or if you have any questions. Questions and topics we discussed during our last two meetings are available at: Book Study Questions

Ring Ceremony

Opportunities
Check out STAR! (Supporting Teens At Risk) The purpose of this ethical leadership organization is to educate teens and communicate positive, action-based strategies for living in our addictive society. STAR helps students take a realistic look at peer pressure and what the media reinforces as popular and acceptable, and encourages alternative, healthy, lifestyle choices.
