Welcome to the Lancer Parent Organization (LPO) homepage!
Please consider joining the LPO for the 2013 – 2014 school year! The LPO provides support and resources for Lafayette's students, teachers, administration and staff. The monies raised through your LPO membership dues and proceeds from the school store are used in a variety of ways: curriculum enhancement programs, teacher appreciation luncheons, the Lancer Award and donations to each of the classes for their Senior Celebration, to name a few.
In addition, The LPO sponsors three major fundraisers throughout the year:
- Freshman class - Carnival
- Sophomore class - Trivia Night
- Junior class - Taste of West County
Funds raised from each of these events stays with the class that runs it and is used to finance that class’ Senior Celebration, an alcohol and drug-free all-night celebration following graduation. Each of these events is run by parent volunteers with support from staff and students. See below for a brief description of each event and click on the links to the left for news and activities (as it becomes available) related to your child's class. We encourage you to join the fun and make the most of your child's high school years as an involved Lafayette parent.
In addition to information about class activities, you will also find key forms, meeting minutes, treasury and contact information on these LPO webpages. LPO meetings are held monthly. If you have any questions about any event, please contact one of the LPO board members listed below.
