The Prep Course will help reduce test anxiety and give the student a better understanding of the ACT test. Test-taking strategies will be introduced to help students maximize their test scores.

Will The Course Help?
1. This program is in its 12th year at Marquette High School. Last year Marquette’s average score on the ACT was 24.2, well above the state and national averages. The state average was 21.6 and the national average was 21.1. Although there is no guarantee a student will increase their score, the results have shown the more time and effort a student puts into the Prep Course, the better the results.

Are There Going To Be More Prep Courses?
1. There will be a Prep Course offered for each ACT test.
2. Students need to register separately for the ACT Test.
3. Students can register at www.act.org or can pick up a registration packet in the College Center at Marquette.
