The Fashion Trunk Show was a Success!
Tori Smith who won for best overall collection and marketing/presentation board, had the “Hippie-esque” collection with a faux leather jacket, and Aztec lined skirt, geometric shaped tank top and decorated scarf with hippie flower headband.
Hannah Bienkowski was voted as best overall marketing/presentation board: Her collection was the metallic “zipper” dress with the faux fur vest and belt, and a zipper clutch.
Megan Hewitt and her “sporty” collection was voted most creative and unique. Her football dress and Matt Holliday open-sleeved top were true genius. Ms. Metzler inspired Megan to go in that direction! Woo Hoo!
In addition to those three:
Mandy Winenger was awarded Best Business Plan for her Southern charm group. Mandy swept the feminine lady category with her soft pastel pleated dress and gathered skirt.
Emily St. Clair claimed the ‘tough chic’ collection category. She had the gray sheath dress and black faux leather jacket.
Katie Singer, by far, “out stitched” all the contestants—her grasp of advanced sewing techniques, mostly self-taught, made her pieces shine. She had the faux leather lined, zippered purse with the white lined pants and blue and white ruffled top—very “Hamptons-ish.”
