Classes
Classesat Marquette will prepare you for college and more. You will have required classes that you must take to graduate. Some of these classes are history English, math and science. You will have some elective classes which you get to select yourself. Take this opportunity to learn many new things from subject areas like cooking, computers, photography, drama, or exercise. ESOL
ESOL class is just for you. We want to help you have a successful academic experience at Marquette. ESOL class is at least one period a day with individualized instruction during your study hall. You may also attend ESOL during your regular class for individualized instruction to help with a test, review, or project. Academic English is emphasized. We also work on cultural literacy. Class size ranges from 6 to 10 students. You will make new friends here. We will help you get acquainted with the Marquette "family."
Clubs
Clubs and Activitiesare a very important part of all American high schools. You may want to participate in sports, drama, marching band, and clubs such as The Multicultural Society, Art Club, etc. Look at the Marquette page describing activities and clubs. Marquette sponsors an annual multicultural festival and we would like for you to help us with it. We hope that you join us in making Marquette a place for total student involvement.
