THE MARQUETTE PARENT ORGANIZATION NEEDS YOU!
In a school this size, we use many volunteers on both a regular and one-time basis. Volunteers are needed to chair committees, sell tickets, work events, staff the school store, plus serve a variety of other functions throughout the school year, including…
ORIENTATION DAYS and FRESHMEN TRANSITION DAY… at the outset of the school year.
GENERAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES and ONE-TIME JOBS…help with a variety of jobs, including:
· DANCE TICKET SALES
· PARENT CHAPERONES
· SPORTS SIGN-UP
· PHOTO SORTING
· STAFF APPRECIATION
· LIBRARY VOLUNTEER
· NURSE’S OFFICE
SCHOOL STORE… Volunteers staff the school store… subs are also needed.
SENIOR MEN & MOM BRUNCH… held in the early spring for the Senior Men and their Moms. Volunteers are needed to help plan and staff this off-campus event.
FATHER-DAUGHTER DINNER DANCE… held in the early spring for all Marquette daughters and their fathers. Volunteers are needed to help plan and staff this off-campus evening event.
SENIOR FAREWELL… is the lock-in held at the school in the evening following Marquette’s graduation ceremony. A large number of volunteers are needed to plan and staff this event. Fundraising begins in the students’ Freshmen year, so consider volunteering on this Committee for all four years at MHS.
We would love to put you to work! Please consider filling out and submitting a Volunteer Form (found here on the M.P.O. website). If you have any questions please feel free to contact the M.P.O. Volunteers Chair, Becky Eggmann at mpovolunteer@att.net or 636-519-0213.
