The Rockwood School District is proud to announce the 15 recipients of the 2010 Rockwood Outstanding Service in Education (ROSE) Awards. The prestigious ROSE Award is bestowed upon individuals who show excellence of character, performance, leadership and service to the Rockwood School District, and is presented to a maximum of 15 individuals each year.

“The 17-member selection committee spent a tremendous amount of time reading and evaluating every one of the submissions for the 387 individuals who were nominated before making the final decision as a committee,” said Leah McCoy, ROSE facilitator. “Despite the time commitment, it’s a rewarding experience. Committee members say over and over, ‘I can’t believe how many wonderful and amazing people work in our district!’”
The 2010 ROSE Award ceremony and dinner reception will take place on Sunday, May 2 at the Doubletree Hotel - Westport.
