Earlier this morning, St. Louis County Police were conducting an investigation in the Fenton area.  

The following schools were briefly in a modified lockdown: Bowles, Kellison, Stanton, Rockwood South, Rockwood Summit and Early Childhood Vandover Campus.

As of 10:40 a.m., the police have informed the district they believe the suspects have left the area and the modified lockdowns are cancelled.

Student safety is Rockwood's first priority.
