Partners in Education

Partners in Education (PIE) is part of the Differentiated Services Department.  Its purpose is to link community resources to the classroom.

PIE Facilitators partner with volunteers willing to share their expertise or special talents with students.  This community connection enhances curriculum, making learning more meaningful and relevant for students.

Project Interface is a unique, unpaid internship opportunity that places students in a specific career area and is offered to qualified Seniors in the Rockwood School District.

Career Shadowing is an opportunity for Rockwood high school juniors to visit a workplace and observe a specific career field.

Special Events are off-site experiential learning events planned for students throughout the school year.

Classroom Presentations impact more than 10,000 classrooms each year by utilizing community resources to provide curriculum-enhancing presentations and career programs.
