Results from the April 8 election show that Rockwood School District voters approved Proposition 3. The referendum would not require an increase to the district's present tax rate of $3.9987 per $100 of assessed valuation.

Prop 3 focuses on the following priority areas: 

• Protect students and the district's investment in facilities with safety and security measures by providing safety and health infrastructure and continuing to fund major capital repairs and improvements
• Provide enhanced educational opportunities for all students by acquiring and constructing additional classroom technology and technology infrastructure, and
• Prepare students for the future by constructing classrooms in existing schools and renovating instructional areas
