Dan Connolly, a 2001 graduate of Marquette High School, is playing in Super Bowl XLVI this Sunday for the New England Patriots. In December 2010, Connolly had a 71 yard kickoff return that helped setup a touchdown in a game against the Green Bay Packers. It stands as the longest kick return made by a lineman in NFL history.
As a player at Marquette, Connolly lettered in football and was a three-time All-District selection and a three-time All-Conference selection. For more information and photos of Connolly, visit his page on the NFL website or the Patriots team site.
