Stanon families have been very generous in the past, and we look forward to another successful year.  Stanton PTO has made the commitment to make fundraising convenient for our families. There is no obligation to participate in any or all fundraising opportunities.  Our priority has been to allow parents the ability to contribute to the PTO through purchases they may already be making or "Passive Fundraisers".  We have selected four major fundraisers for the year which are noted as "Active Fundraisers".  Opportunities include:

ACTIVE FUNDRAISERS:

The Stallion Club – formerly known as “OPT-OUT”. This program allows families the opportunity to make a cash donation to the school. Donations are tax deductible and can be give by anyone (i.e., parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, neighbors.) 100% of money given goes directly to our school. Also, many area employers offer a corporate matching program. Please check with your employer to see if they offer this wonderful option.

Entertainment Books – At the beginning of the school year each child will be given a book to sell; you may take orders and get more books if needed. Simply turn the book back in to school if you are not interested. We receive $12.50 for each book sold.

Trivia Night and Silent Auction – An event for an adults' night out.  It is held off campus the first Friday night in February. Tables go on sale in December.

Stanton Golf Tournament - The Tournament is held the first Friday of June.  Foursomes compete for bragging rights with a shot gun start.

PASSIVE FUNDRAISERS:

Market Day – A frozen food ordering program. Students receive an order form monthly and parents place orders either through the website or through the order form. Items are delivered on a specific day each month. Stanton receives 10% of the items sold.

Scholastic Book Fair – A book fair is held during during the fall in conjunction with Grandparents Day and also parent/teacher conferences.  Scholastic books are available for purchase and Stanton makes a percent of the amount sold.  Students and teachers alike will create a wish list of books.

Box Tops/Campbell Soup Labels & Tyson Project A+ - Don’t forget to look at the labels! We receive .10 cents for each box top and .24 cents for Tyson A+ labels. Campbell’s Soup labels are saved and then we can redeem them for items out of a catalog.

Yellow Box – Stanton receives a small amount for each item deposited in the yellow box in our parking lot. Next time you are cleaning out closets, remember the yellow box in the parking lot! They accept clothing, linens and shoes.

Paper Recycling – Drop your paper off in the recycling bin in the parking lot. We receive a monthly check from the company depending on the amount of paper received.

Target Credit Cards/Debit Cards: Apply for a Target credit card and list Stanton as your school. Stanton receives 5% of the total amount spent at Target. Open a Target Debit Card and you receive 5% off of your total purchase as well as donating 1% to Stanton.

Schnuck's eScript Cards: These cards are free and available at Schnuck's stores and from PTO.  You can designate Stanton as your school and 3% of your purchases are donated from Schnucks directly to Stanton.

If you should have any questions concerning any of the fundraising opportunities at Stanton, please do not hesitate to contact a board member or email us at stantonpto@yahoo.com
