To date, payment has been received on 45 of 92 students.

Project updates:
Memory book:
Personal essay page – ½ page essay and answer a few questions.
Cover – artists came up with design and they will be voted on.
Printing bids – Jmaxx came in with the lowest bid at $22/book.
Personal pages – instructions will sent after spring break. Completed personal page will be due towards the end of April.
Memory book will be delivered to kids on the morning of May 23rd.
Field trip:
DJ services have been donated.
Artists – will work on posters to promote the field trip.
Planners & Data gathers – voted on lunch. Pizza had the most votes.
Paper goods - donated from a relative of Jenny Reini.
Media & Tech kids - will ask for suggestions for clean & appropriate music to listen to.
Service Project:
Thank You notes - kids will have the opportunitiy to write to individuals who have had an influence on them. This project started on Thursday March 8th.
There is a bin in each classroom containing thank you cards & a sheet of paper to track recipient and author.
One service leader spoke to each class to let them know about the thank you cards.
The service leaders will keep track of notes that need to be delivered, written and the supply of cards.
Service Project Options:
H2 Project for Dignity Harbor - participate in donations. Stanton previously donated blankets & adult clothing.
Backpack program – expand beyond donations that are just from teachers.
Necessity kits - assist in the creation of kits for students in foster homes.
Promotion
4th grade parents will help work promotion as in the past. Erika Powell and Teresa Basler will coordinate 4th grade parent helpers.
REMINDER: attire from promotion lunch is dressy. Slacks, collared shirts, skirts & dresses are appropriate for the event.
