I am fortunate to be the superintendent in a community that strongly values public education. Rockwood patrons are committed to their neighborhood schools.  Our teachers and staff are dedicated to student achievement and excellence in academics. A rigorous, highly comprehensive curriculum throughout the early childhood, elementary, middle and high school years prepares our students for future success.

My ultimate goal as superintendent is to foster a culture in which every school community and department collectively focuses on continuous improvements in learning for all students. The district's four areas of focus align with districtwide improvement initiatives that will give our students the skills to succeed in the 21st Century.  The bottom line is to improve the achievement of all students.

Rockwood has a solid foundation and reputation as an outstanding school district.  There is an advantage to living in Rockwood: high academic achievement for students, effective educators, safe and caring schools, and well maintained facilities.  Our mission is to ensure all students realize their potential. These are more than just words for us; they truly guide and direct everything we do in this organization.
