I am your current Westridge PTO president. I have a daughter in the fourth grade. My favorite thing about Westridge is that my daughter is very happy here. She has had wonderful teachers in the classroom and Adventure Club. She has developed special friendships with boys and girls in her class, as well as younger and older children. Her relationships with her teachers and classmates have enhanced her academic and social growth.
My involvement in the PTO provides the opportunity to participate in my child's education. In PTO, I am able to work with my daughter's friends, their parents and the teachers, administrators and support staff of Westridge and participate in decisions regarding support of classroom and social activities.
The PTO provides supplemental funding, administrative support and volunteer resources to enhance the classroom and social experiences for the students. When students leave Westridge, I know they will be prepared for their academic futures with funding that enabled teachers to purchase additional classroom supplies and technology. I hope the students will also fondly remember the classroom parties and school events provided by the PTO that made attendance at Westridge 'fun'.

Westridge Elementary is a great community of parents and staff who really care about the well being of our children. I have children in the 1st and 4th grades and am currently serving as your PTO Vice President. PTO involvement is an important, fun, and easy way to stay involved in your children's lives. In doing so, you get to know other parents, school staff, and be aware of what is going on at school.
A Word from the PTO...
PTO involvement is important whether you are on the Board, can only come to the meetings or just volunteer whenever your schedule permits. It takes all levels of involvement to make the PTO work. We understand that everyone’s situation is different so all that the PTO asks is that you support it however you can whether it’s through your time or through your donations. Some parents can help in the classroom or at school events such as the Carnival or Book Fairs. Others may only be able to help through their donations and support of our various fundraisers such as the Direct Donation Campaign or through the sale of Entertainment Books. Each parent’s contribution is needed and together we make a great PTO!
