Rockwood Reading Week 2012 will be held February 27th thru March 2, 2012.  This year's theme is 'Find the Treasure in Books'.  Each school celebrates Rockwood Reading Week in their own way and there will be district-wide events, also.

On Thursday, March 1st, there will be a district-wide 'Drop Everything and Read, from 10:00-10:15 a.m.  Whether you are home, at school or work, or elsewhere - pick up a book and enjoy reading with the rest of the Rockwood community.

Friday, March 2nd is designated as 'Read Across America Day' in honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday.  This year, Theodore Seuss Geisel would have been 108 years old!  Be sure to enjoy your favorite Dr. Seuss book on March 2!
